Isolation of a subject 1

Caption: Looking For an Idea

My concept is to illustrate how difficult it is to find a good idea.
Idea is represented by the light bulb in the middle while the others are just eggs. There is a phrase that said, "Hatch a new idea." The eggs are still eggs until someone find them and thus, turned the eggs to ideas or "light bulbs." The straw symbolizes freshness.

The inspiration to create the image came from my brainstorming. As I drew (bad) sketches of how I want a certain image to look like, I doodled a little light bulb. I always drew a little light bulb to symbolize "inspiration." Suddenly, all that cheesy cartoon images of "Tom and Jerry" and others popped up in my head. Then "tink"... a little light bulb appeared on top of my head.
If light bulb is an idea, and we need to hatch an idea, then eggs are the beginning of an idea. Then, it all started from that point.

When I composed this image, I decided to put the light bulb in the middle with eggs surround it. The light bulb will be slightly hard to be found at first as it is hidden under the straws. The light bulb will be sharper than most of the objects just to give audience enough clues to figure out the meaning behind the picture.

Notes: I used a small light bulb so its shape will resemble the eggs around it. I also chose brown eggs instead of white ones to avoid confusion. I wish to draw the attention to the light bulb as it is the brightest object in the image.
The straws that I used was actually shredded wood. The wood has more texture than the straws and thus, it won't swallow the light bulb and eggs. At the same time, it gives enough cushioning to the objects for display.
